Zodiac is proud to announce our newest client, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop! We have the pleasure of developing a new intranet for this booming franchise. Based in Fort Worth, Fuzzy’s has dozens of Texas locations and is spreading across the nation!

We are doing so much fun stuff with HTML5 lately, I was exploring the new HTML5 Canvas.
I was working my way through the book “HTML5 Canvas” by Steve and Jeff Fulton LINK when working on this new version of our site.
Its a great read but is pretty technical so if you have trouble with html or dependent on $() for everything it’ll be a little bit of a learning curve (it is for me). They are game developers with a big flash background but this is all HTML. It’s given me some great ideas for what we can do with Canvas.
They have some great working examples so you’re not just writing up weird blocks moving around. I worked a bit with one of the game examples and kind of created a Zodiac Easter egg in our 404 page. Garble any link or if your super lazy Super Lazy Link
It doesn’t have any sound(yet!) and its REALLY hard on a mobile device because of the buttons. My iPad is currently refreshing whenever you hit the thrust button for no reason but its still fun to play on regular machines.
It’s responsive, but don’t resize the page or rotate while in the middle of the game as it resets. Hopefully I have the time in the next month or so to bring it up to snuff.
